About Nan21 eBusiness Suite

Nan21 eBusiness Suite is an integrated business application with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) functionalities for small and mid-size companies. It has an easy to use web user interface built on top of Extjs javascript library and uses Oracle database for data storage. As a web application it also requires a web server capable to execute java code.

Currently it is a work in progress, project status is alpha. Not ready for production deployment yet.

Technical requirements:

In order to install NBS you must have already installed the following:

  • Oracle database, 10g, 11g or XE. Depending on your needs, you can use the free version Oracle XE. Note that this free version XE has some limitations on hardware resources. Learn more about Oracle database editions

  • Any web server running java servlets, Tomcat, JBoss, Oracle Application server, etc
  • OS independent, the whole package can be installed on Windows or Linux.

Main application modules:

  • Material Management: Product master-data, stocks and inventory movements.
  • Business partners. Customers, vendors, third parties involved in commercial relationships with your company.
  • Sales: Pricing, Contract and Order management.
  • Distribution: Transports and parcels, mainly for parcel delivery companies, delivery lifecycle management
  • Financials: includes Invoicing, Expenses, Payments and Accounting.
  • Project Management: Projects and issues.
  • Administration: Application and organization configuration and maintenance.

Development roadmap:

   Beta 1 improving framework and technology issues

  Beta 2 implementing missing business logic functionalitiess

  The production ready RC is planned for the beginning of September 2009.
